This tester conforms to test standard applicable for method A and method B. Clamp the plastic film on around specimen holder (DIA. 127mm). The impact head used in method A use Ø 38.1mm and in method B is Ø 50.8mm.

Description

This tester conforms to test standard applicable for method A and method B. Clamp the plastic film on around specimen holder (DIA. 127mm). The impact head used in method A use Ø 38.1mm and in method B is Ø 50.8mm. The dart is fixed top the tester. After a the dart is selected and the height is adjusted, release the dart with the electronic magnet. Film’s resistance to impact can thus be tested.

Generally, 1 specimen is tested at a time and after 20 tests, record height and dart weight under broken and unbroken conditions for every test.
